Eating at Mottisfont
The Kitchen Garden kiosk has reopened and will initially be serving a limited range of takeaway hot and cold drinks, and some light snacks such as sandwiches and cakes.
Open from 10am-4.30pm daily, the kiosk is located in our walled Kitchen Garden, next to the rose gardens. Our welcome team will be able to give you directions if you're not sure where to go.
How it works...
We've introduced new measures to help keep everybody safe. As you enter the Kitchen Garden, you'll find a one-way queueing system for placing and collecting orders. There are protective screens at the till and collection points, and hand sanitiser available. We can only accept card payments, contactless whenever possible.
We're serving hot and cold drinks, and some light lunches and snacks. Our menu includes sandwiches, hot pasties and sausage rolls, cakes, scones, crisps and confectionary. Please note that all items are subject to availability.
If you have dietary requirements you may prefer to come prepared, as with a limited offer we can't guarantee that we'd have what you need. We do have a small range of gluten and dairy-free food available, and soya or oat milk for hot drinks.
We need to keep everybody safe, so we're only able to offer a limited selection of food at the moment. We're still serving up delicious homemade treats, but social distancing guidelines and a limited kitchen space means that we're not able to prepare many of the meals you may be used to seeing on our menu.
We're offering take-away only, served on plant-based disposable tableware, all of which is composted or recycled. You're welcome to picnic in the grounds where it's safe to do so - there is some limited seating near the kiosk, and we have spaced out a number of picnic tables in the paddock areas.
From 12noon when weather permits, we'll be serving scoop ice cream from a Jude's horsebox located at the top of the main driveway near the walled gardens.
The Old Kitchen and Coach House Cafés remain closed for now.
We look forward to welcoming you back, and know that you’ll support us to make this a safe experience for everyone - thank you.
