We’re so excited to say that the Claife Viewing Station project was successfully shortlisted in this year’s RICS North West awards. The project was in both the Building Conservation and Tourism & Leisure categories.

The RICS Awards showcase the achievements of the most inspirational regional initivatives and develpoments in land, property, constructon and the environment.

National Trust Project Manager, Tom Slater, commented 'It's fantastic to have made it this far in the awards, with such an outstanding selection of work from across the North West. It's been a really significant project for us and the local partners we worked with on the project, allowing access to such an interesting building on the west shore of Windermere, so we're very proud to have our work recognised by the wider industry in this way."

The catergory winners and The Project of the Year Award winner were anouced at The Awards Ceremony and Dinner on Friday 22 April, in Liverpool. Unfortunately Claife Viewing Station didn't win any awards this time but it's fantastic recognition for the project to have made it this far.

Thank you to everyone who has made the completition of the project and the re-opening possible, we couldn't have done it without you.
