Children making a den at Packwood

The '50 things to do before you're 11¾' checklist is the perfect way to explore the great outdoors here at Packwood this summer.

'50 things to do before you're 11¾' will get you and your family out and about exploring all that nature has to offer.

There's nothing quite like fresh air, exercise and family time. You can't beat the fun you'll have in the great outdoors and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The National Trust have created a checklist of activities which will encourage kids to get mucky, discover their wild side and most of all enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer!

Here are a few examples of the activities you can do at Packwood to start you off.

4. Build a den

The Welly Walk at Packwood is the perfect place to build a den. Grab your wellies and head out into the parkland where you'll find lots of natural materials to make a sturdy den in the woodland.
