Surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside, Packwood is a place of dreams and adventure. Pull on those wellies, grab that trusty sun hat and have an outdoor adventure with us whatever the weather. Children are encouraged to run wild in the woodlands, have fun and use their imagination to guarantee a great day out on the Welly Walk.

The Welly Walk is a wonderful woodland area, full of adventure and a great place to run free, discover wildlife and have fun. Using a child friendly map, families can embark on an adventure together through the woodland with various activities at different points along the walk. Get stuck in and hands-on with activities such as den building, tree trunk hopping and see what inquisitive minds can create from natural resources.

Over on our tennis lawn have a go at some traditional outdoor games; we have jenga, skittles, dominoes and more!

Pop over to our Kitchen Garden and see what the gardeners are growing in the vegetable plots and little ones will love playing in the Pottering Shed and watering the flower beds. Pick up an activity sheet from reception to take round with you, explore the Kitchen Garden where you will discover many hidden treasures to entertain all the family from a dipping pond to a giant bug barn and a ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic’. These are all hidden amongst masses of fruit and vegetables making for a magnificent display of fragrance and colour.

Go den building, enjoy making trails with sticks in our Gorse Wood or look out for birds and fly a kite against a cloudless sky!
