Group visits to Packwood

Visitors looking around Packwood

“A house to dream of - a garden to dream in” Packwood is the beloved home of Baron Ash. As you journey through the house, you will see how Baron Ash believes Packwood is best seen. The gardens are noted for their exciting and colourful borders, unusual plants, bountiful Kitchen Garden and magnificent yew trees. We would like to invite you and your group to take this journey with us.

What we can offer

Join a garden tour with one of our welcome hosts and learn how the gardens have developed over the years from the Fetherstons to the National Trust. Have a chat with our room guides and house hosts to discover the stories Packwood has to offer.

If you have a special interest, let us know what you are looking for in your visit. From conservation to gardens we will do everything we can to make your experience truly memorable.  Whether it is the beautiful borders in summer or the house dressed for Christmas there is always something different to explore throughout the year.

Educational visits

We especially like to welcome schools, colleges and universities. We can offer guided tours of the house focussing on the history or conservation of the collection, activity trails and a range of outdoor activities on the day of your visit.

Food and beverage options

Our Kitchen Garden Café offers a selection of hot and cold light refreshments and home-baked cakes.

Your groups catering requirements can be discussed following initial enquiry.
