Spring at Parke
Along with the carpet of primroses, the bluebells are now in flower
These are just some of the others to look out for on your travels:
- Buds beginning to swell on the trees - when you look down on woods from a distance, they completely change the colour of the canopy
- The dawn chorus seems to get louder and birds start to forage for twigs, moss and anything they think might make a cosy nest
- Catkins on hazel trees
- Bumblebees enjoying the warmer weather come out to search for nectar
There's lots of exciting and amazing nature to enjoy at this time of year, as we begin to shed our winter coats and get out there too.
