Eating and shopping at Peckover House

Enjoy a hot drink and a freshly baked treat or take home a special souvenir of your visit.

Gift shop

Enjoy a visit to the house and a stroll through the garden and then visit our well-stocked gift shop located in the Reed Barn.
We have honey from our hives regularly available, supplied by Berbis House Aparies and stock a wide range of local books written by local authors, including Diane Smith, a volunteer at the property.
The shop is open from 11am on all normal open days.

Second-hand bookshop and plant sales

Pick up a bargain read in our second-hand bookshop.
For the green-fingered among you, take a look at our plant trolley - you could take home a little bit of Peckover by buying a plant that has been grown in the garden.

Reed Barn tea-room

Come and enjoy delicious cakes, scones and pastries, as well as our extensive sandwich menu and specials board in our atmospheric 17th-century thatched Reed Barn.
We are thrilled to have been included in the Lonely Planet's Ultimate Eatlist, where Peckover featured at number 100 - being the best place to enjoy a cream tea in a country garden.
