- Car park
There is a large car park at the bottom of the hill in the paddock. There is also a drop off point and separate mobility parking opposite the main gate to the house. Please be aware that parking is unsuitable for motorhomes, caravans and trailers.
- Dogs allowed
Dogs on leads are permitted within the garden but not in any of the buildings. Assistance dogs are allowed in the buildings.
- Tea-room
There is no tea-room available currently but we encourage visitors to bring picnics and drinks that they can enjoy in the garden and in our indoor picnic area. We politely ask you to take your rubbish home with you.
- Toilet
There is a toilet available on the ground floor of the property.
Please note that the surrounding roads are unsuitable for motorhomes, caravans and trailers.
- Accessible route and/or map
Please ask Visitor Reception or our volunteers for the best accessible routes.
- Drop-off point
There is a drop-off point at the top of the hill near the house. However, visitors are welcome to drop off at the main entrance and there are two blue badge holder spaces just opposite the main gate.
- Seating available
There are seats available within the house and the garden. Picnics are welcome in the gardens, we also have an indoor picnic area. We politely ask you to take your rubbish home with you.
- Steps/uneven terrain
Partial accessibility - there is a stone pathway to the entrance where the ground is uneven. Parts of the garden are on multiple levels with steep slopes, steps and hills.
- By road
- Directions on some satellite navigation systems can be misleading, please take the route to Otham Village, then follow the brown tourist signs.
- Cycling

Stoneacre is a one pawprint rated place. Dogs are welcome so relax and stroll through the estate, and in the surrounding countryside. Here's some useful information to help you enjoy your walk.

Highlights
House
Fifteenth-century half-timbered yeoman's house, and a perfect example of a Wealden Hall-House. Highlights include the Great Hall and the Solar.
Garden
Split into two gardens, the front has a Ginkgo biloba tree and colourful planting. The rear is more natural with long grass and an orchard.
Woodland
The house is surrounded by the Otham Valley, where the woodland offers wildflowers, wildlife and stunning views of Stoneacre
