Autumnal walks to Rainham Hall

Autumn mist at Rainham Hall

There are miles of beautiful countryside that are just on London’s doorstep. Step outside, enjoy the fresh air and embrace the autumnal season with a walk to Rainham Hall.

Follow the London Loop [23] which starts at Upminster Bridge Station, along the Ingrebourne River and down to Rainham Village. There are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the views on this 4 mile walk. You can take a rest stop at the Ingrebourne Valley Visitor Centre before continuing your journey.

The walk ends at Rainham Hall where you can enjoy three acres of Gardens and refreshments in the Stables Café. Wny not warm up with one of our delicious seasonal soups and a cinnamon latte?

The Hall is open Wednesdays to Sundays, 11am to 4pm until 31 December (closed 24-26 December 2018). Normal Hall admission will apply (£6 adults/£3 children/National Trust members and under 5's free). The Stables Café and Gardens are open Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm and entry is free.

After exploring the Hall, Cafe, and Gardens, you can then hop on the C2C train line (from Rainham Station) back into London or take a bus back up towards Upminster.
