Chocolate nests

If you find yourself with some leftover chocolate, these little nests are the perfect solution. Using ingredients from the cupboard, everyone will love getting creative decorating their own chocolate nests.

  • 225gdark chocolate
  • 50ggolden syrup
  • 50gmargarine
  • 125gcornflakes


To finish

  • Mini eggs to decorate


  1. Line a 12 hole muffin or cupcake tin with paper cases.
  2. Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave. If you do it in the microwave, make sure it's in short bursts, stirring well in between.
  3. Stir the chocolate, golden syrup and butter into the cornflakes and divide into the paper cases.
  4. Push the mini eggs into the nests and leave to set in the fridge for about an hour, or until firm.
