Ingredients

For the nests

  • 225g dark chocolate
  • 50g golden syrup
  • 50g margarine
  • 125g cornflakes

To finish

  • Mini eggs to decorate

Method

Chocolate treats

For this recipe the nests are decorated with mini chocolate eggs, but you could use any treats you fancy.

Step 1

For the nests

Line a 12-hole muffin or cupcake tin with paper cases.

Step 2

Melt the chocolate, golden syrup and butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave. If you melt the chocolate in the microwave, make sure it's in short bursts, stirring well in between.

Step 3

Stir the chocolate, golden syrup and butter into the cornflakes and divide into the paper cases.

Step 4

To finish

Push the mini eggs into the nests and leave to set in the fridge for about 1 hour, or until firm.
