Accessible track with views over the creek and beyond
This circular trail is wheelchair accessible. It takes you up a gentle slope to views across Porth Creek to Froe. It follows the boundaries of farmland and meadow, then takes you through Froe woods, and back along the creek-side.

Start:
Porth, St Anthony, Portscatho, Truro, TR2 5EX
1
When you arrive at Porth turn right opposite the Thirstea Café, just before you get to the smaller car park. Past the holiday cottages you’ll reach a large car park by the woods. Park here.
2
Turn right out of the car park and head up the track. Ignore the first right hand turning in to the woods way-marked ‘Riverside Footpath Place Quay’ as you’ll come back this way. Go past the holiday cottage on your left and head up the hill. The track will incline along the edge of the woods.
3
At the top of the track you’ll come through a gateway. This is where you get the views across Porth Creek. A slight left as the track continues up hill a little more, following the boundary of farmland on your left, and Creekside meadow on your right. Looking down you can see the track you will return on.
4
The top track enters the woods, and you’ll follow a bendy slalom path down through the woods towards the creek. Turn right at the way-marker to Porth.
5
Follow the Creekside, water (or mud depending on the tides!) on your left, back along the bottom of the meadow and you’ll arrive back at the car park.
End:
