Autumn fun at Rowallane
As a kaleidoscope of colour fades in Rowallane Garden, it makes way for a burst of autumnal orange. Feel the air getting colder and the wind getting stronger while exploring the garden during its seasonal transformation. We have plenty of things to see and do in the garden this season. From nature walks, to family fun days you will find lots of reasons to get out and enjoy yourself.

Join us and disconnect from your worries with a Mindfulness Meander. This Self-lead walk will take you around the garden and encourage you to take the time and become more aware of where you are and what you’re doing.

At this glorious time of year, explore the displays of autumn colour in the garden and create nature wristbands from the golden carpets of fallen leaves.

Autumn Plant Fair

A great opportunity to purchase from a range of specialist plant stalls including plants grown in Rowallane’s world famous garden. Need a rest after your purchases? Stop by the cafe for a light lunch or hot drink.

Ghosts and Gourds Spooktacular
19 - 20 October, 11am - 4pm
Halloween is approaching, the nights are getting colder, darker and longer. At Rowallane Garden there is a strange feeling in the air. A feeling that you are being watched, by someone, or something….
See the garden come to life with mystical and magical myths inspired by local folklore. Bring the whole family along for some good old-fashioned, eerie fun.
Can you solve the clues that will lead you to safety? Take the Magical and Mystical Folklore trail and prepare to let imagination run wild! Join us in the Stableyard and carve out a pumpkin to keep the supernatural creatures at bay or let Firepoise entertain you with a breathtakingly dangerous fire display.
Additional Cost for trail £1.50
and pumpkin £3.00.
Poison Chocolate Apple Dunking
26 October - 3 November, 11am - 2pm
Enjoy a ghoulish treat in the café while your little witch or wizard decorate their own chocolate apple to take home.
