Spring has sprung
There is an abundance of colour across the gardens and Parkland this spring.
We have plenty growing at Shugborough for you to enjoy this spring. As the weather gets warmer, why not stretch your legs and venture outside to enjoy the daffodils that are growing by the River.
Venture into the walled garden and see our project to reimagine the glasshouses that once stood proud by the head gardener's house. The sunny blooms look glorious in the spring sunlight.
Head over to the flower beds in the Formal Gardens and see the tulips vibrant colours against the grey facade of the Mansion. It took our garden team weeks to plant the thousands of bulbs that you can enjoy today. Join us in May and see the wysteria on the clock tower flowering a wonderful purple colour. Did you know that the wysteria is our gardener Derek's favourite flower in the gardens? See if you can spot his pruning by the clock tower on your visit.
It is thanks to your support and the hard work of our gardening team that we are able to keep our gardens looking beautiful all year round. Why not stop at Visitor Reception and see all the other areas of the Parkland that you help us to look after?
