What to see in the gardens at Shugborough this spring

Tulip display in Shugborough's walled garden

There will be an abundance of colour across the gardens and Parkland this spring.

We have plenty growing at Shugborough for you to enjoy this spring. As the weather gets warmer, why not stretch your legs and venture outside to enjoy the daffodils that are growing by the River.

As the season progresses, you'll be able to head over to the flower beds in the Formal Gardens and see the tulips vibrant colours against the grey of the Mansion. Our garden team spend weeks planting thousands of bulbs for you to enjoy today. Come back in May and see the Wisteria on the clock tower flowering a wonderful purple. Did you know that the Wisteria is our gardener Derek's favourite flower in the gardens? See if you can spot him pruning by the clock tower on your visit.

It is thanks to your support and the hard work of our gardening team that we are able to keep our gardens looking beautiful all year round. Why not stop at Visitor Reception and see all the other areas of the Parkland that you help us to look after?
