Getting your hands dirty

Do you love walking in the countryside? Fancy making those walks have a purpose and a benefit to others? We regularly monitor our public paths and their gates, stiles, benches and signs to keep things as tip top as possible so that everybody can enjoy their visit.

Bringing Slindon to life

Our Ranger team run guided walks and events throughout the year. It's an important way to share the delights of Slindon and get people out into the countryside. We rely on volunteers to help make our wild ideas a reality. No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a love of people.

Monitoring wildlife

Do you already have a passion for the English countryside's flora and fauna? Our Ranger team conduct wildlife surveys to monitor some of the key species at Slindon, at different times of the year. If you'd like to help us, some species knowledge would be of an advantage but it's not essential.
