Cornish Tin Mining Heritage Challenge Walk

We're joining in with the South West Coast path challenge to walk as much of the path as possible.

Evening at Wheal Coates mine buildings
The South West Coast Path Challenge is coming to the coast this October. We’re asking people to pull on their walking boots, dig out their OS map and get on to the South West Coast Path in order to raise money and help protect it for generations to come.

There are events happening all round the coast, long and short, so there should be something for everyone.
On Friday 7 October Local historian Roger Radcliffe will lead us round our site at St Agnes Head, pointing out all the historic secrets and stories as he goes.
We'll meet at 4pm in the car park at St Agnes Head. More info about the event is on our events page too.

Find out about the legend of the giant Bolster and discover what was hidden underneath your feet that was worth the blood, sweat and tears of many mining families.

Register to take part in a walk now and invite your friends to join in.
