Volunteer at Sunnycroft

Sunnycroft, Shropshire apple pressing

Volunteers form the heart of Sunnycroft. Opportunities cover all elements of this estate in miniature, from the gardens to the tea-room.

Why Volunteer?

Apple pressing, gardening and costumed interpretation are just a few ways in which you can volunteer at Sunnycroft. By volunteering you will join a team of over 120 volunteers that form the heart of everything we do on this estate in miniature. Sunnycroft is a small property with lots on offer. By joining the team you are able to experience all elements of life here. One day you could be room guiding, the next you could be selling products in the shop or serving in the tea-room. You do not need any prior experience, just a willingness to take part. What will you in try in 2016?

How to get involved

Getting involved is easy, just pop in to see us at Sunnycroft or the call the property on 01952 242884 to find out more. We'll then ask you to complete our registration form (which we'll send to you) and send it back to us. Then we'll get in touch to arrange a time and date to meet you in person and talk about volunteering here in more detail. We can also discuss your interests and have a look around the estate in miniature to find a role that is most suitable to you.

Join a supporter group

Whether you're a volunteer or a National Trust member, your support is vital to our work. The Shropshire Centre is a group which promotes and supports our work through a programme of outings, holidays and socials giving you the opportunity to meet like-minded people, make friends and learn more about us - if you're a member or a volunteer, they'd love to hear from you.
