Tatton Park offers a fun-filled educational programme for children and families throughout the year.

Explore the woodland with the Rangers, meet our farm animals, live like a Viking at the Old Hall, hear fabulous historical tales, pond dip for mini-beasts and much, much more!

Tatton Park also offers a variety of adult learning courses all year round, including lectures, horticulture classes, wildlife walks, longbow sessions, art tuition, animal husbandry workshops and hands-on history taster sessions.

Tatton Park offers a packed programme of formal learning activities for schools, catering for Early Years children up to Key Stage 3. We offer site tours around our historical properties, themed study tours relating to nursery rhymes and traditional tales for younger visitors, environmental days with the Ranger team, literature sessions for secondary students and of course, our fabulous living history days taking in a range of periods: Stone, Bronze and Iron Age, Anglo Saxons, Vikings, Tudor, Medieval, Victorians and World War Two. All of our sessions have cross curricular links and are developed in accordance with the National Curriculum.
