Christmas traditions at The Argory

The Argory staircase decorated for Christmas

Celebrate traditions old and new at The Argory this Christmas on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December. With exciting and beautiful winter wonderlands to discover, Christmas fairs to enjoy, festive entertainment, mulled punch and mince pies, The Argory has it all wrapped up!

We're expecting our annual Christmas Fair at The Argory to be very busy!

• The fair will commence at 11.30am on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 December and finish at 5.30pm. Come nice and early to avoid the queues.

• Please be patient with us while we get you parked! If you can car share with local people/friends then please do so. We greatly appreciate your help!

• We don't have any facilities to offer cash back at The Argory so please come prepared.

Experience what life was like for the MacGeough Bond family and their servants as they prepare for the festive period. See the house in a whole new light and hear how the family celebrated Christmas in the 1800’s.

This year, the Courtyard will be packed with over 40 craft, food and gift stalls, stocking locally produced and festive goods including home furnishings, cupcakes, handbags, fudge, candles, cider, crafts and more. Visitors can stock up on seasoned firewood for the cold winter months and choose from the beautiful range of Christmas trees. This year’s event will also feature a food quarter including sweet and savoury crepes, beef burgers and hot dogs, spit hog roast and speciality teas and coffees.

We’ll have a traditional carousel for the little ones. Coalisland and St. Mark’s silver bands will transport visitors to a bygone age with the sounds of fabulous festive entertainment.
