Volunteering at The Weir

Pumkins being lifted by the Weir garden volunteers

Want to come and enjoy the peace and beauty of The Weir Garden on a regular basis? Volunteering with The National Trust can be really rewarding and fun.

We are looking for volunteer's to help us continue the work we do so our visitor's will enjoy  this unspoilt Herefordshire countryside which has many historical secrets to uncover. We manage it in a natural way to create a varied habitat for wildlife.

Our volunteers will help you get outdoors and closer to nature

Opportunities range from welcoming our visitors, being part fo the garden team through to supporting and planning events. You don't need any qualifications or specific experience, you just need to be willing to get involved and enjoy a new challenge.  Training is provided and the time commitment is as little or as much time as you can spare us.

Here are a couple of roles but please contact us to find out more.

Car park assistants

You provide a warm welcome to visitors; answer any questions and help orientate them to the features of the garden.

Events volunteers

Enjoy being creative? There's nothing like a fun day out at The Weir Garden and events volunteers make them happen through planning, preparations and help on the day.

Retail Assistants

We need help running the shop, so if you would like to serve customers and have a smile for everyone please contact us.

We have other needs for help too, so please get in touch; either via email or   clicking on the link below for all National Trust opportunities in your area.
