Enjoy this short, circular walk around the parkland at The Weir Garden, exploring the rich history of the wider estate, discovering the huge variety of wildlife, and taking in the sweeping views over the Herefordshire countryside

Start point
The Weir Garden visitor car park, grid ref SO 44008 41854
Step 1
Head towards the welcome kiosk from the car park. When you reach the walks board, turn right and head through the gate into the parkland. Continue along the track, following the black way-markers as you go.
Step 2
Continue along the track as it turns right. Take care as you approach the entrance drive as this is the main entry route to the property. Please check for oncoming vehicles before crossing.
Step 3
After crossing the entrance drive, head past the dead oak tree and follow the track up to and through the gate. Continue up the hill, following the black way markers. When you have passed the sculpture bench, follow the path to the right and go through the next gate.
Step 4
Follow the track past the farm buildings on the left. This area can be particularly uneven so please watch your step.
Step 5
Continue following the track down the hill and go through the gate into the next field. The gate is marked with a black way-marker.
Step 6
Continue through the field along the track that leads towards the walled garden. You will reach a gate that takes you back into the main visitor car park. There is a dog waste bin located on the fence near the gate.
