Autumn colour

Autumn leaves at Dudmaston in Shropshire

Though the sun is getting lower in the sky and the days are getting shorter, the garden at Trerice is still as beautiful as ever.

With much of the garden blooming into September there is still ample for the flower devotee to see. The blue and white border (above the Knot Garden) still provides a splash of colour from the Aconite and Michaelmas Daisies.

However, if you do visit make sure to experience the riot of colour that is the Crimson Glory (Vitis Coignetiae) that covers the end of the Barn restaurant in the Rear Court, which as the month goes on turns a vibrant red, a sight that cannot be missed.
