Halloween half-term fun
Prepare for a spooky half term at Trerice as Halloween descends on the ghostly manor house. There’ll be activities, a Halloween trail, stargazing and a Spooky Trerice evening – if you’re brave enough!
On Monday 22 and Wednesday 24 October make spooky Halloween themed masks for the Spooky Trerice evening (or your own trick or treating at home). This activity runs from 11:00-16:00 and costs £1 per mask.
Tick off #27 of your ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ and gaze at the Cornish skies above Trerice on Saturday 20 October at a free event with Kernow Astronomers, there’ll also be an astronomy film-show and talks that will run even if cloudy. A stargazing exhibition will also be in the hayloft from 13 October.
The highlight of half-term Halloween fun at Trerice is the annual Spooky Trerice evening on Saturday 27 October. The house and garden close at 5pm ready to open again, dressed to impress all the witches and ghouls who come to visit, at 6pm.
It's an evening when witches and fairytales descend on Trerice for their Halloween masked ball go through the house and explore the party.
Spooky Trerice is suitable for all the family but availability is first come first served and ticket prices apply. Don’t forget to bring a torch!
Planning your visit to Spooky Trerice?
If you are planning to visit Spooky Trerice please be aware that the house, gardens and cafe will be closed completely between the end of the day at 5pm and the start of the evening event at 6pm while we prepare for the event.
Tickets for Spooky Trerice are available from reception on the evening on a first come, first served basis and are £2 for adults & £1 for children, plus our normal admission price.
The number of tickets is based on our car park which has a limited number of parking spaces and there will be no more admissions once the car park has reached capacity.
The lanes on the approach to Trerice are narrow, with limited passing places and can get busy. We therefore ask you to lift share where possible.
