Spring treats in Uppark's Café

Situated in the east pavilion, and the site of the old orangery, our café offers great food with stunning views across the South Downs. It is the perfect place to relax and treat yourself to our tempting spring menu.

The café opens from 10am daily and serves hot food until 3.30pm.Our menu changes every two weeks so there will always be something new for you to try when you visit. We have both breakfast and lunch available every day as well as homemade cakes and hot drinks.

Our breakfast includes tasty treats like the 'Big Breakfast' sandwich and marmalade and toast . Yours to enjoy every day 10am - 11.30am.

Choose from our light lunch menu including a fresh potato, leek and almond salad, warming soups such as honey roasted swede and a variety of freshly-made sandwiches.
If you need something more substantial then we have delicious main meals like our vegetable coconut curry, turkey and bean enchiladas and lamb casserole.

For those with a sweet tooth, we have a great selection of homemade cakes and tray bakes. Try our new recipe for flapjack (containing fruit and coconut), sticky marmalade loaf or a classic fruit scone washed down with a freshly brewed coffee or one of our speciality teas all served in china.

Kids can enjoy smaller portions of our main meals or select from our pick 'n' mix packed lunches which be enjoyed either in our café or take outside as you explore the grounds.

We also have highchairs available and a microwave to warm bottles and baby food.

Every penny spent in our café goes straight back to Uppark to help with vital conservation work. Last year our visitors bought over seven thousand scones and drank eight thousand cups of tea, all helping us look after Uppark for future generations to enjoy.
