Tyntesfield Book Club
A new Book Club for reading enthusiasts
- Booking essential
- Free event (admission applies)
We are proud of our Bookshop at Tyntesfield and we are excited to be starting a new Book Club.
The Book Club will have 10 members and meet once a month for 6 months on Tuesdays: 20 Jan, 24 Feb, 17 March, 21 April, 19 May, 16 June
The first book to read is: The Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri. The second book will be: The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. The remaining 4 books will be decided collectively at the first meeting.
The group will meet in the Cow Barn café at 10am. The meeting will be 2 hours with a break in the middle to get a drink. One of our friendly Bookshop volunteers will be running the meetings. There is no criteria to joining other than an enthusiasm for reading; the willingness to try books that might differ from your usual choice and being ready to join in a discussion about them.
There is no weekly charge, although a £10 donation at the first meeting would be appreciated and will go towards the upkeep of Tyntesfield estate.
