World Book Day Toddler & Preschoolers’ Story-time

0-5 year-olds and their grown-ups will be celebrating World Book Day 2026 at Tyntesfield by listening to a story about a snail on a long adventure and 3 little pigs in trouble.
We will also sing some songs and nursery rhymes and decorate a paper snail to take home.
Squash/water and biscuits will be available for the children.
The event is taking place in the Sawmill which is an indoor meeting/learning space with toilets and room to bring buggies. Allow 15 minutes to walk from the carpark to the Sawmill.
Tickets for this event are on a first come first served basis on the day.

The Sawmill. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Sawmill from the Welcome Building. The last part of the walk is quite a steep slope.

Sturdy shoes are advisable for walking to the Sawmill.

Prior booking not needed but numbers will be restricted due to the size of the Sawmill. Tickets will be issued from the Welcome Building upon arrival on a first come first served basis.
