Opening at Wightwick Manor from 7 March 2026, The Rossettis: Siblings and Spouses is a major new exhibition exploring the remarkable artistic and literary legacy of the Rossetti family. Taking place throughout the Manor, the exhibition examines the upbringing, relationships and creative output of siblings Christina, Dante Gabriel, Maria and William Rossetti, alongside the work and influence of Elizabeth Siddal and Lucy Madox Brown.
The largest exhibition ever staged at Wightwick, it celebrates the acquisition of a new portrait of Christina Rossetti by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, alongside newly rediscovered drawings and several reattributed works from the collection. Building on previous Rossetti-focused exhibitions at the Manor, this exhibition is grounded in the pioneering research and collecting of Lady Mander, whose work helped establish Wightwick’s world-class collection relating to the Rossetti family and their circle.
