Inspired by the Morris & Co interiors at Wightwick Manor, this creative workshop invites you to embroider your own Dove & Rose motif, drawn from the Manor’s iconic Drawing Room wall coverings.
Guided by expert tuition, you’ll explore decorative embroidery techniques and learn how to build pattern, texture, and detail using carefully selected threads and materials. With a focus on creativity and craftsmanship, you’ll interpret this classic design in your own style, creating a beautiful, heritage-inspired piece to take home.
Perfect for those with some embroidery experience or a confident beginner, the workshop offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to develop your skills while enjoying a unique connection to one of Britain’s most celebrated Arts & Crafts interiors.
£85 per person, includes admission to the site, drinks refreshments and all materials. There will be a 1 hour break where you can explore the site and make use of the tearoom facilities if you wish.
Please note, this workshop takes place in the meeting room above the shop in the Old Manor building, which is only accessible via a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
Workshop runs from 10:30am - 1:30pm with a 1 hour break.
This workshop is exclusive to Wightwick Manor and Gardens.

- Suitability
Suitable for over 18's.
- Meeting point
Please park in the main car park and make your way up the path to the Manor. The course will take place in the Meeting Room which is located above the Old Manor shop (not wheelchair accessible).
- What to bring and wear
Bring a pair of sharp scissors for the workshop. Please no stiletto heels. Please note, bags larger than A4 are not permitted in the Manor and you will be asked to leave them in a locker.
- Accessibility
Note that as Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel. The Meeting Room is located on the second floor of the old Manor building, up a short flight of stairs (no wheelchair access). Visitor toilets are in a separate building next to the tearoom. Contact Lily with any specific requests, access or assistance needs or requirements.
