In this workshop, you will design and create a hanging glass windchime set. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of glass shapes and components to plan your layout, then decorate them in the colour scheme you prefer. The session introduces basic glass fusing and layering techniques. Each participant will make up to five hanging pieces, along with a top bar from which the finished chimes will be suspended.
Afternoon Session 1:30pm-3:30pm: Magical Lanterns! £45
In this workshop, you will create your own fused‑glass lanterns panels, working with themes of your choice such as woodland and nature, the seasons, coastal influences, art deco patterns or garden flowers. You will learn basic glass fusing, cutting and layering techniques. Each participant will design, make and decorate glass panels to fit an Ikea lantern, which is provided. You will take your blank lantern home on the day, then collect your finished kiln‑fired panels from Wightwick two weeks later and fit them into your lantern at home
Book onto both sessions for the discounted price of £85 All creations will be kiln fired by Suzie following the sessions and then collection from Wightwick Manor (or postage of the work can be organised) from 14days later.
