During his life, Lord Fairhaven collected and commissioned the work of several East Anglian artists: from English landscape paintings by Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable, to contemporary depictions of the estate by Leonard Squirrell and Edward Seago. Lord Fairhaven used his collection to root himself, his title, and his estate into the wider cultural and social backdrop of the time, using art to express this public identity. Explore the exhibition trail in the House to unlock the connections Anglesey Abbey has with East Anglia in the collection. Immerse yourself in the landscape that inspired Leonard Squirrell and in the summer months, discover his watercolour paintings installed across the gardens.

This activity is perfect for the whole family.
- Meeting point
The exhibition is inside the House and across the estate. Make your way to the House front door to see items from the collection, and explore the gardens to see installations of artwork.
- Accessibility
Wheelchair access in the House. The exhibition is on the ground floor of the house, a volunteer on the day can assist with step-free access. Some of the outdoor installations are on grass terrain.

Entry in to the House is from 11am-3pm (last entry at 2:30pm) .
