Snowdrops: The Specialist Collection Tours 2026
Don’t miss snowdrop season at Anglesey Abbey! Join a tour to get an exclusive look at the specialist collection between 26 January and 27 February 2026.
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
Anglesey Abbey is famous for its snowdrop collection and the gardens are home to over 500 different varieties of snowdrop. Many of the snowdrops at Anglesey Abbey are rare and can only be seen on this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, which takes visitors into an area of the gardens that is normally closed to the public.
Join one of our expert garden guides for the chance to see these rare and unusual varieties up-close and hear the intriguing stories behind how there came to be such a vast collection at Anglesey Abbey.
Snowdrop tours will run daily from Sundays to Fridays from 26 January until 27 February 2026. There will be an option to join a tour at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm. Tours will last roughly an hour.
Please note that spaces for tours will be charged at £5 per person. All funds raised through snowdrop tours at Anglesey Abbey help to care for this special place. Pre-booking is essential and we recommend booking early as these tours are always very popular and we expect them to sell out quickly. Tickets are non-refundable and normal admission to Anglesey Abbey applies.
If you can't join a tour on the day you visit, you will still be able to see hundreds of snowdrops along the Winter Walk, Woodland Path and Jubilee Avenue. We look forward to welcoming you in the new year.
