Beneath the lavishly decorated living quarters of Wimpole Hall is a much more functional and far less glamorous space. Join us for a free tour visiting the seldom-seen areas of the Wimpole Hall basement. Get a feel for these working rooms, understand their functions in the daily life of the Hall and get underneath the history of life below the 17th-century mansion.
To join a tour, simply collect a ticket from the visitor welcome centre upon arrival. These tours cannot be pre-booked and tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As places are extremely limited, we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.
Full tour times are listed below. The house is open as usual on weekends.
