Heritage Open Day

We're opening our doors for free entry at Little Moreton Hall as part of Heritage Open Day.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

As part of Heritage Open Day, Little Moreton Hall will be open to all visitors free of charge. Take a look inside this unique Tudor house and enjoy a walk around the garden. Last entry to the hall is at 4pm. The Welcome Building closes at 4:30pm.

Children can search for the 'Wandering Wolves' who have escaped the Moreton Family Crest. See how many you can spot.

The basics

Meeting point

Please head to the Welcome Building first and our lovely and helpful Welcome Team will point you in the right direction and help you make the most of your visit.

What to bring and wear

Please dress appropriately for the weather on the day. Uneven surfaces in and around the hall, so please where sturdy footwear.

Uneven ground in the outdoors and uneven floors in the hall. Cobbles in the courtyard. Powered mobility vehicles are not able to enter into the building at this time. Manual wheelchairs available to borrow. Prams and pushchairs to be left under the main Gateway, tucked in at the sides. Please do not leave them in the courtyard or by doorways.
