February half term: Truelove's trail

Can you help the Truelove, the Butler, prepare for the Legh family's return in the house?

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

The family are due back after half-term and there's plenty left to do! Dress up in a pinny, mob cap or white gloves and explore the house, helping along the way. Set the Dining Room table for dinner, clean the Grand Stairs and imagine what it was like to be a servant in the Edwardian golden age or head to the dressing room transform into a member of the family and surprise the servants early.

Inspired by Walter Truelove, who was described by the Legh family as a "perfect butler."
