Self-Led Blossom Walk

Follow the signs on this self led blossom walk on Hawthorn Drive. Experience the power of blossom as you wander from the admissions hut, to the house and garden and back.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Hanami—which literally means to “view flowers”— the Festival of Blossom is all about soaking up the beauty of spring as nature bursts into bloom.

Join in with the celebration of parkland blossom at Lyme by taking a stroll up Hawthorn Drive and see what some time spent with blossom can do for your mood.

Breathe in the fresh scents, explore the vibrant colours, and take a moment to learn about mighty blossom. Discover how we can harness its potential to protect pollinators and restore nature for ever.

The walk route is approximately 1.8 miles as a round trip.

Travel to Lyme car-free and as a thank you, enjoy free entry to the park and garden as well as 10% off in our cafés when you show a valid bus or train ticket or your bike helmet.
