Outdoor theatre - Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet double bill

Experience two bold, visceral, high-impact productions, set within the picturesque gardens of Quarry Bank.

  • Booking essential

Experience the passion, intrigue, and urgency of Shakespeare in this bold, high-energy double bill: Romeo & Juliet and Hamlet.

Multi-award-winning A Place For Us Theatre presents unforgettable, abridged, and accessible versions of these chilling plays. Each production runs for 70 minutes, with a 40-minute interval between performances.

Pack your picnics, bring wet-weather gear or sun cream (or both!), and something to sit on, and prepare for an enchanting evening of outdoor theatre. Your ticket includes both productions; it is not possible to book for individual performances.

Babies under 12 months go free. Essential companions are welcome free of charge—simply book tickets for your party, then email quarrybank@nationaltrust.org.uk with your request for a carer or companion ticket, including your booking reference.

Please note: National Trust admission charges do not apply.
