Drawing inspiration from the raw beauty of land and sea, her paintings are shaped by the ever-changing drama of ocean, clifftops, mine workings and moorland. Working in pastel, oil and mixed media, Sophie captures those fleeting, magical moments when light, cloud and shadow race across Penwith’s wild coastline and vast moors, transforming the landscape in an instant.
