Take time to slow down and reconnect with nature in this gentle three-hour workshop hosted by Sidney from Forest Bathing SW.
The session starts with an introductory talk on Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) and its benefits for our minds and bodies. You’ll then be guided on a gentle mindful walk with hand lenses to observe nature, creative sound mapping activities, guided visualisation, and quiet time in a sit spot exercise. During the workshop, you’ll explore simple ways to relax, be present, and immerse yourself in the natural world.
Suitable for beginners, with all materials provided. Please bring a picnic blanket or yoga mat for the sit spot exercise.
This event is free, however normal admission prices apply for entry to the gardens.

This event takes place outside, where areas of the walk through the garden include cobbles and uneven surfaces. In the event of poor weather, the introduction session at the beginning of the event will take place indoors - this area is only accessible by one flight of stairs.
