A Very Royal Summer of Play at Cotehele Mill

Experience a very royal Summer of Play at Cotehele Mill this summer.

Visitors can collect a ‘Mischievous Mill Mice’ trail sheet at Cotehele Mill Visitor Welcome and search the site for six felt mice who have stolen ingredients which are needed to bake Queen’s Cakes for the royal visit.

In Sawmill Cottage, visitors can make their own paper bunting and flags to wave or do some royal themed colouring.

Along the path to the Mill from the Quay, visitors can spot boards decorated with plants, birds and insects with particularly regal names e.g. Kingfisher, Purple Emperor Butterfly, Crown Vetch.

The activities are free of charge, and there is currently no charge for admission to Cotehele Mill.

What to bring and wear

There is no parking at Cotehele Mill. Visitors can park at Cotehele Quay and walk along the Mill Path. Sensible footwear is advised.
