Head into the King's Room and discover more about the story of the Cider House Pottery, which operated at the site between 1975 and 1979.
The Cider House Pottery was the brainchild of Peter Schofield, son of Godolphin’s owners Mary & Sydney, and was run by Peter and his friend Mike Dodd.

Head to the Welcome Hut for entry into Godolphin, . The display is hosted in the King's Room. The Welcome team will issue maps and direct on arrival.
- Accessibility
The King's Room is accessed via two sets of steps, which are unmarked, with no handrails. Accessibility dogs welcome. The property also has an easy-read guide, large-print guide and a visual story. There are uneven floor levels and uneven terrain on the approach to the building. Please refer to our access guide on the homepage for more information.
