Godolphin Mining Heritage Walk
Enjoy a short walk through a mining landscape, with one of our volunteer guides, who will highlight the features of mining that remain and tell you more about the historic relationship between Godolphin and mining.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Join one of our volunteer walks leaders and discover more about Godolphin's industrial past right in the heart of a landscape scarred by centuries of mining.
These guided walks will take place every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with a 1.30pm start, and be approximately 45 -50 minutes long.
These tours will run from Tuesday 19 May - Saturday 24 October.
The walks are approximately 1.75 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. Ground conditions can be extremely muddy, especially in the early Spring and Autumn so stout footwear is a must.
Please wear sensible footwear and suitable clothing, and bring your own water/refreshments. Look out for our walking guides in red at the meeting point, near the Welcome Hut.
Dogs on leads are welcome. This event is free.
Please note: walks are subject to cancellation based on adverse weather conditions and volunteer availability.
