By bus
Route 513, Penzance to Leedstown. Route 39, Camborne or Helston to Godolphin Cross. It's a 20-minute walk from both stops.
By road
Many SatNavs do not accurately locate to Godolphin. We recommend using What3Words: ///quit.warms.casually. From Helston take A394 to Sithney Common, turn right onto B3302 to Leedstown, turn left, follow signs. From Hayle B3302 to Leedstown, turn right, follow signs. From west, B3280 through Goldsithney, turn right at Townsend.
Dogs
Dogs under close control are welcome along the River Hayle. A dog waste bin can be found opposite the Welcome Hut at the Godolphin main site. There are also dog waste bins in nearby villages, less than 2 miles away, at Godolphin Cross and Townshend.
Car park
Car parking is free for National Trust members.

Toilets available at Godolphin main site, including an accessible toilet.
Tea-room
Treat yourself to warming hot drinks and cake in the Piggery tea-room at the main Godolphin site. 10 minutes walk from the car park.

Stage 1
From the car park, turn left along the track, walking to the top past the barns on the right.
Stage 2
Once at the top of this track turn right onto Vane's Lane, part of the medieval road from the Domesday manor of Trescowe to Breage churchtown. Go through the first gate on the left into Far Mill Field.
Stage 3
Follow the path down the field, beside the hedge. Go through two gates to emerge onto the road.
Stage 4
Turn right, bear left at the junction and cross Godolphin Bridge. Take the bridleway on the right and then the waymarked path on the right, over the footbridge.
Stage 5
Turn left and follow the path beside the River Hayle.
Stage 6
At the ford, turn sharp right up the track to reach the main road. Turn left and follow the road for 150m (beware of fast traffic, and cross with care), until you reach the turning on the right to the Godolphin carpark. Continue up the track and follow signs to main Godolphin site to finish this walk in the Piggery tea-room.
