Join us for a short presentation followed by a guided walk down to the Old Lake, where we’ll explore the changes taking place and the reasons behind them.
Along the way, we’ll delve into the environmental and historical challenges we’re facing and share how we’ve developed our exciting ‘plan for the future’ for this wild and much-loved part of the estate.
Come along to discover the story behind the landscape and what lies ahead. Refreshments and hot drinks will be provided.
This event starts from the Home Farm Education Barn. How to find it: From the main car park, head towards the lower end, away from the main visitor entrance. You will find a footpath marked wider estate access, follow this to the road, turning right and entering Home Farm through the wooden gates on your left (not the white ones with Herons). The education barn is the third building on the left.
