There are lots of family-friendly things to do at Castle Drogo this October half term. From following our themed trail, explore the castle and grounds, or enjoy a family walk with crunching autumn leaves.

Autumn is the perfect time to bring the family together to enjoy a refreshing seasonal walk and admire the changing seasons across Castle Drogo and the Teign Gorge.
Especially for half-term, we’ll have a nature trail around the grounds for all visitors to enjoy, as well as an activity sheet encouraging Autumnal exploration available on arrival from our Welcome Team.

Mobility parking in main car park. Accessible toilet at visitor centre. Step-free access available via tarmac and gravel paths (please note steep in places). The visitor route around the castle does require going up and down several flights of stairs. Full access statement can be found on our website.
