Hands on history: children's conservation workshops
Aimed at kids, learn about the tricks and tools of conservation and get hands on with some of the techniques.

Led by a member of the Collections and House team, they'll be holding a two sessions every Tuesday throughout August.
The morning sessions are aimed for children between 6-11 years old, and the afternoon sessions for 12-16 years old.
Each session will share what the Conservation team do and why they do it, a demonstration on handling and cleaning and then a chance to handle different types of object and have a go at some conservation cleaning using the tips and tricks.
The workshops are free but spaces are limited to 8 children per workshop, so booking essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
