- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
As the gardens burst into colour, cherry blossom, magnolia, rhododendrons and sweeping bulb meadows create an enchanting landscape. This is the moment the garden truly comes alive and you're invited to wander, pause, and reconnect with the season.
Inside the house, the beauty continues.
Our talented team of volunteers will be bringing freshly cut flowers from the gardens indoors, filling the historic rooms with colour and scent. It's a tradition inspired by the last owner, Lady Joyce Heathcoat‑Amory, who asked that flowers should always be on display at Knightshayes. The result is a joyful celebration of the garden's character, lovingly gathered and arranged.
From Friday 1 May to Sunday 31 May, look out for highlighted blossom displays across the grounds. Each one showcases a different star of this world‑class plant collection, offering the chance to learn more about the species that thrive here while simply soaking up their beauty.
Lose yourself in the colours, scents and stories of spring at Knightshayes, nature's greatest show, in full bloom.
