Exclusive red squirrel walk & cream tea in the castle

After Brownsea island closes, join us for a peaceful woodland walk to learn about our charming red squirrels and enjoy a delicious cream tea in Brownsea Castle.

  • Booking essential

Join us for a unique opportunity to explore Brownsea Island after it has closed to the general public for the season.

Walk through the woodlands and learn all about the fascinating red squirrels that call this island home. At this time of year, the red squirrels are more visible as they busily prepare for the colder months.

You'll have the chance to spot these beautiful creatures as they scurry around, foraging for their winter food supplies. Witness their lively antics up close in a tranquil setting.

After your guided walk, you’ll have exclusive access to Brownsea Castle. Warm up with a hot drink and a delicious scone with cream and jam, thanks to our collaboration with the John Lewis Partnership.

Relax in the Morning Room and take in the stunning views of Poole Harbour. Don’t miss this special opportunity to visit Brownsea Island out of season, enjoy wildlife spotting, and indulge in some delightful treats.
