May Half Term - Stories and Seedlings at Corfe Castle

Grow, explore, and time travel this May half term. Join us at Corfe Castle for a fun mix of hands on planting and lively storytelling.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Plant your own nasturtium seeds in an eco pot and take home a little bit of history. Nasturtiums have long been valued for their colour and usefulness, much like the herbs and plants grown by the medieval community who once lived beneath these ancient walls. Meet the Keeper of the Castle and take a whistle stop trip through nearly a thousand years of history. With our experienced storyteller, step into the castle’s past and discover what life was really like when Corfe Castle was a bustling home. Could you survive a siege? Dance like an Elizabethan? Or manage everyday life in a medieval household? Come along and find out! Free activities (donations welcome) Children under 5 must be supervised by a responsible adult Story tours begin at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm
