Estate Walk: Badbury Rings

A walk with fine views and the opportunity to discover some of the fascinating history of the ancient Iron Age hill fort of Badbury Rings. Distance: 4 miles. Time: approx. 3 hours. Only assistance dogs can be welcomed on these walks.

This walk, takes in an Iron Age hill fort in a chalk grassland habitat, which is home to a wealth of wildlife. Then walk the droves and ancient woodlands before returning to Badbury Rings.

This walk is 4 miles long and goes across meadows, grassland, chalk hills and woodland paths

What to bring and wear

Please wear appropriate sturdy walking shoes and clothing for the weather conditions. Ground can be wet and muddy following rain. Please bring any food and drink needed.
