Family Nature walks
Join us for fun, hands-on family nature walks featuring bug hunting, tree ID and much much more. Book your place on arrival at Visitor Reception. Normal admission applies.

We're inviting little explorers and nature enthusiasts to take part in a range of exciting, hands-on activities designed to connect children with the natural world.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to join in on the fun and help their little ones as they discover the wonders of nature.
10.30am walk - recommended for 5 years & under: A fun, guided walk for little legs, with lots of fun activities.
12.30pm walk - recommended for 2-12 years old: A wild walk through the woods with activities for all ages.
2.30pm walk - recommended for 6-12 year olds: A guided walk for older children, with lots of activities to get up close to nature.
Tickets £3 per child (2-12 years old) with one accompanying adult per child. Walks are capped at a maximum of 10 children per a walk, so tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis on the day.
Normal admission charges applies. National Trust members will need to show their membership cards at Visitor Reception and non-members will need to pay the admission price (from £23 per adult, £11.50 per child) or join the National Trust.

Meet our bug-tastic volunteers at Tipi, located at the start of the Woodland Walk, approximately a 5 minute walk from Visitor Reception.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear suitable clothing for the time of year, with good footwear as you will be exploring woodland paths. Long trousers / sleeves recommended. If it's wet, wellies and raincoats at the ready.
- Accessibility
This event includes a range of pathways from gravel, grass and woodland floor. If you have accessibility needs and would like to attend this event, please call 01202 883402, or email kingstonlacy@nationaltrust.org.uk to discuss further.
