Nordic walking at Kingston Lacy
Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking. When trained in the right technique to use the poles effectively, it increases use of the upper body and enables you to work harder but it feels easier!

We are supporting Dorset Council to deliver a range of Nordic walking sessions at Kingston Lacy.
Discover what Nordic walking is all about with a free taster session: • Tuesday 28 January, 11.30am • Tuesday 11 March, 11.30am • Tuesday 20 May, 10am • Tuesday 23 September, 10am
Master the basics and improve your Nordic walking technique with a ‘Get into Nordic Walking’ session (£15 per person): • Tuesday 4 February, 11.30am • Tuesday 18 March, 11.30am • Tuesday 27 May, 11.30am • Tuesday 30 September, 11.30am
Each week join the team for either a wellness walk, a gentle mobility focused walk, or a workout walk, designed to improve your fitness. Each walk is £5 per person. To join these a ‘Get into Nordic walking’ course must have been completed. • Weekly on a Tuesday, 10am

Health Cycles are delivered by Dorset Council's Health and Activity team and not the National Trust.
